How Funds Are Used
Over 85% of the funds HIRRS receives goes directly to supporting our programs and services! In Fiscal Year 2004, Management and General expenses were 13% of HIRRS' revenues and Fundraising expenses were just over 1%. In keeping such expenses to a minimum, we are able to use more funds to provide our clients with the levels of service they need and deserve. Each year, HIRRS serves approximately 100 individuals with brain injury between our various programs. In addition, the agency often provides follow-up services and support to clients that have left the program.
Funds were allocated to Program Services as follows:
- Residential Supports - 58%
- Supported Employment Programs - 12%
- Individual and Community Support Programs - 17%
- Day Treatment - 13%
