Developmental Disabilities Administration (DDA)
This State of Maryland agency provides long-term, need-based funding for individuals that have sustained a disability generally before the age of 22. Funding is provided for long-term living residential, day treatment, vocational and individual support services (supported community living).

Department of Health and Mental Hygiene TBI Waiver Program
This program was designed as a resource for Maryland residents with traumatic brain injury who are currently placed in specific Maryland hospitals or facilities and are eligible for Medical Assistance. Funding is provided for long-term living residential, day treatment, vocational and individual support services (supported community living).

Department of Rehabilitative Services (DORS)
Residents of Maryland are supported by DORS which provides short term funding for those who would like to work. Funding is provided for all aspects of employment, including, pre-employment skills building, job search, job coaching, vocational assessment, and employer and co-worker education.

Rehabilitative Services Administration (RSA)
Residents of the District of Columbia are eligible for RSA funding. Funding is provided for all aspects of employment, including, pre-employment skills building, job search, job coaching, vocational assessment, and employer and co-worker education.

HIRRS accepts private pay for our services.
Private Insurance
HIRRS staff will work with you to determine if your insurance carrier provides benefits for HIRRS services.
